The answer lies in some clever layering. Sheer skirts don't need to go over bare legs; they could just as easily be popped over maxi dresses or flirty shift minis. Take this look for example: I was in the mood for a simple but slightly country look by pairing lace and denim together, and so I popped this sheer skirt on top of a denim maxi dress. As long as you keep the top neutral and fairly simple, the same could be done with any dress. The same goes with sheer tops: Keep an eye on your proportions, but they look extra fun layered on top of dresses or shell tops. How about you, do you have any sheer layering tips?
