FANCY SWEATPANTS

Can you tell I'm super into baseball hats this season? Anyone? Has that become clear yet? Haha I literally can't stop wearing them; I love the way they give an immediate tomboy feel to any outfit.

With this look I decided to play with a lot of contrasts. I took fancier sweatpants and paired them with a silky blouse, really blending the "classy" and "sporty" lines. I've really been enjoying how sweatpants have been finding their way into the non-couch-vegging looks as of late, and I really like how they look paired with structured crop tops and more luxe materials. Actually, if you remember I created this look in my Layering 101: Weather Report post- looks like I took my own advice and tried it out for myself ;)

  3. I want to find myself a pair of nice track sweats ASAP. I love the blend of comfy and chic for everyday wear, but I know my grimy old boyfriend sweats won't cut it! I love the look you've put together here, especially with the baseball cap. It just adds to the entire look!

  4. I love the idea of dressing up sweat pants and these are the perfect pair! They are darker so they look more fancy... did you get a new logo? It looks great! Cute outfit as always... I need to get on this baseball cap trend and see how it goes.

  8. Love the fancy sweats! I have only worn my pair a handful of times because Im finding it hard to balance the "vibe" with them, but you did a great job with it! I wore mine to the grocery store a few weeks ago and Rob thought I was wearing PJs outside and said "are you really going to wear that?!" haha, boyz.
As for your suggestion of dressing friends in vintage, I LOVE that idea but I feel like i dont have that close/ type of girl frands here in CO to do that with really. Need to work on that! xoxo

  14. Lady, you can pull everything off! These sweatpants are really nice, like a more comfortable version of leggings, and you did a great job with pairing it with a fancier shirt.

  19. Well goodness, dearie, you took your own advice very well. You're very brave to wear sweatpants with such a classy top but the overall feel turned out splendid. And the hat only makes it better, which I'm sure you've noticed. XD
