SKIRT: c/o New Old Fashion Vintage
TURTLENECK: Zaras (recent!)
CHAMBRAY: Forever 21
SHOES: Urban Outfitters (recent!)

I think this outfit right here best describes how my style has changed since the new year. Before I was really into busy patterns and electric colors, and while that still catches my eye, I feel the prettiest in something like this. A full skirt, a turtleneck, some neutral colors, and cut-out shoes with socks. It's simple but not boring and makes my eyes oh so happy!

And let's take a moment to fawn over this skirt, shall we? You know by now that I'm a total sucker over the midi trend, and this New Old Fashion skirt is exactly why. I love the silhouette it creates, and I'm already itching to pair it with some crop tops when Chicago decides to stop moonlighting as the Arctic. New Old Fashion is a chic little boutique that has a lot of tailored and feminine vintage just like this skirt. And- bonus- they also have a $15-or-less clearance section right now, so if you're in the mood to shop around visit them here!

And here are some of my top picks that New Old Fashion has in stock right now- a girl can't have enough hats and boots!

  24. I'm new here. Your style reminds me of WWII, which is interesting. I don't think I've ever seen anyone that means 40s when they say 'vintage'. Way to go!!! That skirt is amazing!!!

  26. Aw Marlen, this really does seem like you! I think you always stay true to your style even when you're wearing brighter, more eye-catching pieces. But these are still eye-catching to me, too. I seriously love that layering up top and that skirt is the most perfect color/cut/poof/everything. *___*

  31. You look incredible, I love those boots about to check urban for them! They are so perfect. You sense of layering and the high waisted skirt with the belt is amazing, you have great style but I love that you stick to your individual style, you have used high street and vintage but you look so individual and stylish, Its great to see - I love it.
