Just because it's Fall doesn't mean you have to put away your summer tees! When I received this Vintage Griffin striped sweater, I got all these preppy outfit ideas tumbling through my head. I wanted to look like the inside of a J Crew catalog- playing with bright candy colors with clean patterns and cheerful hues. But those short sleeves could be a bit of a problem when I stepped outside into the nippy weather.

So I did one of my favorite layering tricks and popped a long sleeve shirt underneath. It looked all angsty and moody when we were fourteen, but now it just looks plain old chic ;)

And here are some other Fall favorites from Vintage Griffin- they've got tartan skirts!

  11. God, you look absolutely adorable! I hate that with all the video editing for 4 channels it leaves me with little to no time to go through my favorite blog but I finally managed to get caught up with editing. As I've told you before, you're truly a master of layering pieces. I really love how the shirt looks over the chambray top.
