Sooo has anyone else been hit with the Fall sniffles? Our apartment has officially turned into a quarantine, where we walk around with blankets over our shoulders and have chicken soup simmering on the stove exclusively. The breakout started on Thursday, when we were supposed to go adventuring through a rain forest here in Washington. We woke up bright and early, laced up our boots and shrugged on our backpacks and were all ready to go...when Marc turned pale and said he was going back to bed to die.
So here we are on a Sunday, shaking off the last of it and melting of boredom indoors. I don't think I've ever watched so many bad Netflix movies in my life. But anywho, now that we're feeling better we decided to poke our noses out from under the blankets and go hang out in Fremont just to give us some space from those four walls we call home. And seeing how wearing my old high school sweatpants wouldn't be socially acceptable in public (they're cherry red and the size of a child's tent), I went for something that felt like jammies but didn't earn you the same sneers. Like, say, the coziest infinity scarf I can get my hands on? The Seam Designs oatmeal scarf was just the perfect thing to pop on top of my polka dot maxi (which is for sale in my store here) and instantly kept me warm and snuggly while I willed my body to do verbs all afternoon. This scarf goes with just about everything and anything- with dresses, grandpa sweaters, over sized cardigans- anything you can think of! And if you like this one in particular, check out the Seam Designs here and see all the other colors they have to offer!
And Seam Designs doesn't only make scarves- it makes all sorts of knit accessories. Below are some of my favorite items from them, just to give you an idea of the awesomeness of this ;)
And if you've fallen smitten with their designs like I have, then you're in luck! Today Lyndsay, the clever creator, is offering one lucky reader a grey bow headband, which would be oh-so perfect to keep those ears warm during winter. To enter all you have to do is:
That's it! This is open to US readers only and will run for one week- good luck!
