So this is a little unusual for me, but here is me wearing PANTS! I'm pretty sure some of you gasped and fainted, someone help and revive them.

I'll admit that I almost never wear pants unless I'm feeling super lazy; as in, long hair don't care I'm tossing on a sweater and going. But every now and then I get a little creative with them and actually build a solid outfit. I  like how these high waisted jeans and checkered, prim shirt give off an almost masculine vibe when paired together. Or is it just me? Or maybe today I'm just feeling...androgynous. Who knows.

Now if you need me, I'll be outside playing with tools and Tonka cars, or whatever it is that boys do with their free time.

  2. Ah, pants! The horror! Hehee. I really like you in pants. It seems so... natural. Some people (like me) just shouldn't wear pants. The color of these are really lovely, and the button detail is such a nice addition!

    Also--plaid, yeah!

Have fun playing with cars in the dirt. My brother and I used to do that all the time when we were little. ;)

  3. Oh my! I almost bought those pants the other day because I've been wanting riding pants for the LONGEST TIME. I couldn't bring myself to do it though (I hate internet shopping). They look so fantastic on you though and I LOVE the color! What a perfect shade to go with everything. Also, your hair is gorgeous styled that way. I really love the braid!

  27. Haha its funny I didn't really think about you as a "no pants" person but this is definitely a different look for you - and I like it! I haven't worn pants in years... I honestly don't remember the last time but it was probably 2008ish!

  28. Love this outfit! I'm kind of the same with pants - the days when I WANT to put effort into an outfit but don't feel creative tend to be pants days. I have a specific skirt that is like the queen of my lazy days, because leather skirts always look cool, so it gets worn a ton. But yeah. I love your shirt, especially the ruffly bit, and the pants.

  36. Your hair is soooo cute!

I don't think you look masculine, but maybe just a touch -horsey :)

  37. To clarify, I don't mean that you look like a horse, but that you've spent the day...out wrangling a horse. Surely that went without saying?

  45. I LOVE your hair like this! It looks amazing. And you have the prettiest eyes! Haha, I'm the same way; pants, to me, are way beyond lazy. It's so hard for me to wear pants because I just don't know how to wear them.
You look great, though! I think it does give off a great masculine (but feminine) vibe, and I love this outfit!
