Do the Mashed Potato, Now Do the Twist

May 29, 2012

Photobucket mayblog453 mayblog459 Photobucket I remember this time last summer I was really into the dirty hippie look, with flowers in my hair and in loose white boho shirts hanging limply off of me. And now? Now I look like I own poodle skirts and my boyfriend may or may not own a Letterman jacket. I have no idea how this happened- maybe it's my obsession with Mad Men- but now my whole closet is filled with knee length skirts and old-school patterns. I'm totally digging it though.

Now all I have to do is convince my boyfriend to hunt down a drive-in theater and my friends to get milkshakes with me rather than beers :)

Shirt- thrifted
Skirt- got on a trip to Thailand
Sandals- h&m (recent!)

  13. I love polka dots. End of story. And hey...milkshakes are just as good as beers...sometimes...not really.

I think it's so cool how style changes for a person sometimes. When I lived in Miami, Fl for a little while, my style turned super edgy.

  24. I've actually undergone a very similar metamorphosis :) When my boyfriend first met me I used to wear skirts over trousers and it confused him no end! Now I'm much more vintage/old school. I love this outfit...the midi skirt is gorgeous and the blouse goes lovely with your hair.
