The Road Back Home

I had to journey back home for the holidays (see: take the train to the suburbs), and the way it shook down was like I was trapped in an ABC Family tv-movie. The horror. I had to juggle two giant bags that were my makeshift suitcase for 14 city blocks, ran the last two of those blocks because I was dangerously close to missing my train, wiped out while not so nimbly maneuvering the curb, and ran down the platform like a mad woman milliseconds before the train doors closed in my face. I made it just in time, sweating with hair plastered to my face and breathing irregularly. This is why I don't leave the city. Thankfully my mom had a marshmallow egg waiting for me when I got home so all is forgotten. Photobucket

  5. You have to go through just about as much trouble to get out of the city as I did to get to the city when I was living in Germany. What an ordeal, at least there were marshmallow eggs to smooth things over :) Such a beautiful skirt! And those shoes.. man. Just an awesome outfit in general!

  13. There is not much that a Easter egg cannot fix!
You are so lucky that your bf takes your photos, mine gave up a long time ago and now I have to use a tripod which is not always very successful. Oh and my nails were Sally Hanson nail foils.
I love your skirt with those boots, perfect!
